Four armed persons allegedly looted 8-kg gold and Rs 1.28 lakh cash after holding employees of a finance company captive at its Jagdishpura branch here.
Four youths barged inside the Manappuram finance company office and held its guard Piyush and Assistant Manager Neeraj Kumar captive at gunpoint yesterday, police said.
The accused forced Neeraj to open the strong room and looted the gold kept in 550 packets and cash kept inside, they said.

The wire of the two CCTV cameras installed at the branch were disconnected before the attack, according to complaint.
Branch Head M Singh and Neeraj have been taken into custody for questioning, IG, Agra, Range Ashutosh Pandey, said.
