: Gold worth Rs 91.5 lakh has been seized in two different cases at the airport here, Customs officials said Friday.
In one incident, 1.5 kg of the precious metal worth Rs 49 lakh was seized from six passengers who arrived here from Malaysia Friday.
In the other incident, 1.3 kg of gold valued at Rs 42.5 lakh was concealed in the rectums of the six male passengers who had arrived from Dubai Thursday.
The male passengers had concealed the metal in their rectums while a woman passenger hid the gold in her innerwear, a press release from the Customs said.
