Goo Goo Dolls to reunite for 'Dizzy Up The Girl' 20th-anniversary tour

Rock band Goo Goo Dolls have announced a North American run of dates celebrating the 20th anniversary of their "career album", 'Dizzy Up the Girl'.

The album, which debuted on September 22, 1998, catapulted the band to mainstream success, especially after their song "Iris" was featured on the soundtrack to the film "City of Angels", featuring Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan.

The song went on to earn three Grammy nominations. 'Dizzy Up the Girl' also featured hit singled "Black Balloon," "Slide," and "Broadway."

The band will perform the album in its entirety every night, followed by a second set of further hits, rep0rted Billboard.

 

The tour kicks off in Phoenix in September and wraps up in Las Vegas in November.
