Jharkhand government's intervention helped a tribal woman redeem her Rs 10,000 investment amount along with accrued interest from a private company, which was reluctant to respect its bond on maturity.
After failing to move the company to meet its commitment, Sushila Kujur of Maria Toli village in Ranchi district lodged an FIR with the police and then appealed to the "Jan Samvad Kendra" set up by the Raghubar Das government for intervention on August 12 this year, an official release said here today.
The chief minister's Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar sent her letter to the Principal Secretary of Planning and Finance, Amit Khare to initiate action.

The woman had purchased the bond of Rs 10,000 ten years ago, the release said.
