The city-based Gujarat State Fertiliser Company would be supplying its new product, the liquid bio-fertiliser under the brandname 'Sardar', to Maharashtra.
GSFC chairman and managing director S K Nanda said the production of the bio-fertilizer started in November.
He was speaking on the sidelines of a seminar on 'Gatishilta', organised by the Information Department of the Gujarat government here.

The bio-fertiliser has been developed by Anand Agricultural University.
Nanda also said that GSFC had started commercial production of 'Neem coated urea, which reduces water pollution and increases efficiency of the fertiliser.
