Guar gum prices rose Rs 140 to Rs 10,343 per quintal in futures trade today after particpants created positions, tracking a firm trend in the physical market on back of robust export demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, guar gum for delivery in this month's contracts went up by Rs 140, or 1.37 per cent, to Rs 10,343 per quintal, clocking an open interest of 22,160 lots.
Guar gum for delivery in March contracts also traded notably higher by Rs 142, or 1.37 per cent, to Rs 10,490 lots, with the business turnover of 5,69,545 lots.
