Medium-pacer Rush Kalaria claimed a four-wicket haul as Gujarat defeated Haryana by 28 runs in a Vijay Hazare Trophy Group B cricket match here today.

Chasing a target of 260 after putting Gujarat into bat on winning the toss, Haryana were bowled out for 231 in 49.5 overs.

Rujul Bhatt was the top-scorer for Gujarat with a 75-ball 55 in a consolidated effort by the team's top-order before folding in 49.5 overs. Skipper Parthiv Patel was another notable contributor, scoring 45 off 55 deliveries.

For Gujarat, leg-spinner Amit Mishra picked up three wickets, while Ashish Hooda and Harshal Patel grabbed two apiece.
