Gunmen barge into govt employee's house, set car afire

Unidentified gunmen barged into a government employee's house in central Kashmir's Budgam district and set fire to a car belonging to one of his relatives, police said today.

Mohammad Subhan Bhat, who works in the Baramulla District Jail, was not present in his house in Chadoora area of the district when the incident took place late last night.

The gunmen took away a vehicle belonging to Bhat's nephew and later burnt it, a police official said.

A hunt has been launched to nab the gunmen.
