Hand grenade recovered at ONGC Assam Assets headquarters

A hand grenade was found near the Delhi Public School in ONGC Assam Assets headquarters at Nazira in upper Assam's Sibsagar district today, the police said.

The grenade was recovered from a drain by the side of the main gate of the school, the sources said.

A driver of the school bus noticed the explosive and informed the school authority which in turn reported the matter to the police, it said.

An investigation is on.
