Harcourt Butler school in touch with IT firms to connect with

The Harcourt Butler school today said it has approached leading global IT firms including IBM to reach out to its alumni.

K K Bhargawa, President, Butlerian Alumnus Cell said, "We are in touch with leading IT companies including IBM to reflect our reach among our alumni whom we couldn't reach via our website."

He said in the coming days, the alumni can register themselves on the school's website and help the alumnus cell function in a more proficient manner.

The Harcourt Butler school -- originally established as Bengali Boys School -- was established in 1917 for the wards of Central government employees.
 

The school is located on Mandir Marg (earlier known as Reading Road).

Some prominent alumni of the school include Justice Nasir Aslam Zahidi, Chief Justice of Pakistan; Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda; Sanjay Mehendru, Commissioner GST; V R Mehta, VC, Delhi University and Anand Sharma, Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, among others.
