Haryana exempts auto owners from penalty on road tax arrears

Haryana government today said it has exempted auto-rickshaw owners from paying penalty on outstanding road tax.

The owners of these vehicles could now pay arrears of road tax without any penalty by February 28, a spokesman of the Transport Department said.

This exemption will be provided till February 28 and full pending road tax would have to be paid with regard to three-wheelers for availing this benefit, he added.
