HC seeks explanation from Raj govt over renaming of Rajiv

The Rajasthan High Court today sought explanation from the state government as to how Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendras opened under the MNREGA Act have been rechristened as Atal Seva Kendra.

The high court was hearing a petition filed by Congress leader Saiyam Lodha alleging that the name has been changed by an executive order whereas the kendras were opened in 2009 under the MNREGA Act.
