Shares of IT firm HCL Infosystems today fell over 2 per cent after the company's net sales declined in the April-June quarter.
The stock ended the day with a loss of 2.37 per cent at Rs 45.40 on BSE. During the day, it slipped 8.17 per cent to Rs 42.70. At NSE, shares of the company dipped 2.15 per cent to settle at Rs 45.50.
HCL Infosystems yesterday said its net loss has narrowed to Rs 41.45 crore in the April-June 2015 quarter from Rs 72.37 crore in the year-ago period.

However, the company's net sales declined to Rs 1,685.50 crore in the said quarter from Rs 1,760.11 crore in the April-June 2014 quarter, HCL Infosystems had said in a statement.
The firm said its services business has registered 27 per cent year-on-year revenue growth, while consumer distribution business declined 25 per cent YoY.
