Head constable dies of heart attack

A 48-year old head constable attached to the Tiruvidaimarudur police station in this district, died following a cardiac arrest while on duty.

Head constable Thangapazham had finished his lunch yesterday and was resting when he suffered a heart attack, police said.

He was rushed to a hospital but died on the way, they added.

Having recently cleared an examination, he was waiting for posting as sub-inspector.
