Hester Bio Q4 standalone net rises 57% to Rs 5.5 cr

Net sales rise to Rs 28.18 cr for quarter under review as against Rs 23.36 cr in the year-ago period

Hester Biosciences today reported a 57.14 per cent rise in standalone net profit to Rs 5.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 3.5 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Hester Biosciences said in a BSE filing.

Standalone net sales of the company rose to Rs 28.18 crore for quarter under review as against Rs 23.36 crore in the year-ago period.

For entire 2015-16 fiscal, the standalone net profit of the firm surged to Rs 19.22 crore compared with Rs 13.99 crore a year ago.

Its standalone net sales for the fiscal increased to Rs 100.89 crore from Rs 90.03 crore in the preceding fiscal.
 

In a separate filing, Hester Biosciences said its Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.10 per equity share for 2015-16 fiscal.
