For emphasis on use of Hindi in official work, a 'Hindi Pakhwara' fortnight was inaugurated at the Airports Authority of India Regional Headquarters, North East Region, Guwahati.
AAI Regional Executive Director, NER, Kaushik Bhattacharjee inaugurating the Pakhwara urged the officers and staff members to feel proud to use Hindi for official purposes and treat it as their responsibility.
During the Pakhwara lasting for 15 days, emphasis would be given for increased use of Hindi in official work, Bhattacharjee said.

During this period various competitions shall be organised, including in Noting/Drafting, Prashna Manch, Shabdawali Quiz and Vaad-Vivad, said an AAI release today.
Competition for Group D and non Hindi speaking officials would also be organised, the release added.
