Hindu Munnani today alleged a large number of Bangladesh nationals were illegally residing in Coimbatore and Tirupur Districts and indulging in 'anti-social' activities and sought action against them.
More than 20,000 Bangladeshi people had infiltrated both the districts and indulge in illegal activities such as circulating counterfeit Indian currencies, munnani General Secretary Kadeshawar Subramanian told reporters here.
The govenrment should take steps to control their activities and take stringent punitive action against such infiltrators, he said.
