Hope to be good parent: John Legend

Singer John Legend says he and wife Chrissy Teigen hope they will be great parents to their baby when it is born next year.

The couple will welcome their first child together next year and the "All Of Me" singer revealed his hopes for the tot, reported People magazine.

"I really hope we'll be good parents! I hope our child will be kind and smart and awesome in every way. Hopefully we'll do the best job we can."

Legend, 36, also said he cannot wait to welcome a child with 30-year-old Teigen.

"It is pretty exciting that I'll have a little child running around that is the product of the love that Chrissy and I have for each other.
