Hry to give job to brother of jawan killed by militants

The Haryana Cabinet today approved a proposal to give a job to the elder brother of Army constable Mandeep Singh, who was killed in firing by militants in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an official statement, dependents of 120 martyrs have so far been given employment opportunities by the present government.

The Cabinet gave its nod to a proposal for a Group-C post to Sanjeev Kumar, elder brother of constable Singh, on compassionate grounds, the statement said.

Singh, a resident of village Antheri in Kurukshetra district, was killed in militant firing in the Machhal sector in district Kupwara on October 28, 2016, it added.
