Idina Menzel wanted to try blonde shade, says hair stylist

Idina Menzel's hair stylist JT Franchuk has revealed her new blonde locks are not inspired from her character Elsa from "Frozen'.

Menzel, 43, recently turned her signature raven locks blonde and posted the results on Twitter, reported the New York Post.

"We knew there would be (comparisons to 'Frozen')... Though it's not the reason. Idina has been interested in trying a shade of blond for a while. We started a few highlights around her face earlier this week... She was loving it, so we took it further," said Paul Labrecque Salon stylist Franchuk.
