Illicit liquor worth Rs 35 lakh seized near Bikaner

An illicit liqour consignment worth Rs 35 lakh was seized by sleuths of excise department from a truck on national highway at Hariasar village in Bikaner district last night, police said today.

The driver and attender fled the scene leaving the consignment, they said.

The truck was on its way to Gujarat from Rohtak, they said, adding that the sleuths intercepted the truck parked outside a roadside Dhaba after a tip off.
