India were 248-1 at tea against Afghanistan

India scored 248 for one before rain forced an early tea on the opening day of the one-off Test against Afghanistan at the M Chinnaswamy stadium here today.

Right-handed batsman Murali Vijay was batting on 94, while Lokesh Rahul was batting at 33 at the break.
