An Indian man claiming to work for a Bollywood film company has been charged with visa fraud in the US for laying about his job.

Sukhpal Veer Singh arrived at Kennedy Airport from Kuwait with a visa issued by the US Embassy in New Delhi that had been revoked last month "due to irregularities in the application", a complaint filed yesterday in Brooklyn Federal Court says.

He listed his employer as Seven Star Film Productions, but when pressed by Customs and Border Protection officers, admitted he was unemployed. He is charged with visa fraud, New York Daily News reported.
