A 19-year-old Indian girl is battling for life after allegedly jumping from a building following a tiff with her boyfriend over money in Sharjah in the UAE.
The girl jumped off from the third floor of the building in Sharjah yesterday.
"She was rushed to a hospital where she is recuperating in the ICU," Sharjah police was quoted as saying by the Khaleej Times.
She jumped after having a "heated discussion" with her boyfriend over money. The girl's boyfriend reportedly lives on the sixth floor of the same building, the police said.
The boyfriend has been detained and the matter is being investigated, they said.
