Infant charred to death

An infant was charred to death in a fire incident in Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir, police said today.

One-year-old baby girl Rabia Mushtaq was charred to death when fire broke out in her house in Kurhama area of Ganderbal yesterday, a police spokesman said here.

The fire, caused by electric short-circuit, completely damaged the ground floor of building, he said.
