The first edition of the International Children's Film Festival of Kerala will get underway here from tomorrow, with over 140 films, documentaries and short films set to be screened.
The festival will be an opportunity for the children to view world class films, chairman of the organising committee, actor and MLA, Mukesh, told reporters.
The films would be screened at various theatres here and would conclude on May 26, according to organisers the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare, Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, Kerala State Film Development Corporation and the state Institute of Children's literature.
The organisers are keen to organise the festival on a yearly basis, Mukesh said.
