International kabbadi tournament from Feb 24 to Mar 1

Twenty countries, including host sIndia, will take part in the International Kabbadi Championship to be held in the city from February 24 to March one, next year.

The tournament will be jointly conducted by the Tamil Nadu amateur Kabbadi Association and State Sports development authority, President of Tamil Nadu Amateur Kabbadi Association Solai M Raja and General Secretary A Samiyullah told reporters here today.

Men and women teams from countries like US, England, Japan, Austalia, China, Pakistan, West Indies, Iran, Malaysia and Canada are expected to participate in the tournament at the Tamukkam Grounds here, they said.
