International Training at CIFT, Kochi

An ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) training programme on 'Fish Processing, Quality Control and HACCP' will be held here from October 20-25 in collaboration with Bangladesh based SAARC Agricultural Centre.

Participants from countries such as Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and India will be taking part, a CIFT press release said.

Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) Chairperson Leena Nair, will formally inaugurate the training programme on October 20 and Dr C N Ravishankar, Director, CIFT will preside.

Dr Mohammed Nure Alam Siddiky, Senior Programme Officer, SAARC Agricultural Centre, Dhaka, will be the Guest of Honour.
