Iran envoy meets Omar

Iranian ambassador to India Ghulam Raza Ansari today met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here and discussed various matters of mutual interest.

"Ansari called on Omar this afternoon and the two leaders discussed various matters of the mutual interests," an official spokesman said.

The ambassador, who arrived here yesterday on a three day visit, addressed a gathering at Gund Khawaja Qasim area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district yesterday and stressed the need for unity and integrity of muslim ummah.
