In order to provide full range of generic medicines at cheaper rates to the customers, a 'Jan Aushadhi' drug store was today inaugurated in the state's winter capital here.
Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Shantmanu today inaugurated Jan Aushadhi, a generic drug store, at SMGS Hospital here today.
This is the 10th such store in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, the divisional commissioner said the 'Jan Aushadhi' drug store is the tenth store in the country which is being made functional in Jammu at SMGS Hospital to provide full range of generic medicines at cheaper rates to the customers.
He said that the store is managed by District Red Cross Society and coordinated by Bureau of Pharma, a public sector undertaking of India.
