Jewellery worth Rs 90,000 burgled from east Delhi house

A burglar allegedly held a woman and her daughter-in-law captive at their home in east Delhi's Jagatpuri area and decamped with jewellery worth Rs 90,000, police said today.

The burglar allegedly entered the house last night through the terrace and threatened the two women at knifepoint, police said.

He held them captive and even thrashed them, they added.

He fled with jewellery worth Rs 90,000, police said.
