Calling upon Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram in New Delhi today, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das informed him that the state would present a separate budget for the ST/SC in the 2017/18 fiscal.
Das referred to the 2016/17 budget which had a separate part on agriculture, an official release said here.
Separate budgets helped participation and all-round development of these sections, Das said.

Detailing about the passage of Chhotanagpur Tenancy Act and Santhal Pargana Tenancy Act by the state assembly, Das said the tribals would have the right on their land, besides the profit from it would help in their development.
The Chief Minister urged Oram for early release of funds under "Banbandhu Kalyan Kosh" and opening of five new Eklaya Ashram, the release said.
The Union minister assured Das of early action, the release added.
