A 15-member team led by Jhulan Goswami of Bengal has been announced to represent East Zone for the two-day Inter-Zonal Senior Women's championship.
The championship is scheduled to be held at Kolkata from 18th February 18 to March 3, the Secretary of Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA), Rajesh Verma said today.
Verma, who is also the Convenor of East Zone, said Priyanka Sawaiya was the lone cricketer from Jharkhand to find a place in the zonal team.
Following are the teams: Paromita Roy, Mandira Mahapatra, Jhulan Goswami (capt), Saika Ishaque, Beauti Mondal (all CAB), Madhuri Mehta, Kadmbini Mahakud (Wk), Swagatika Rath, Sussri Dibyadarshini, Ritu Singh, Madhusmita Behra, Sarita Meher (all OCA), Anita Lodhi (ACA), Reema Chakravorty (TCA) and Priyanka Sawaiya (JSCA).
