JK, Raj receive showers

It was a dry day for Delhi but the temperature remained around normal level for this period of the year.

The maximum was recorded at 35.5 deg C, two points above normal, while the minimum stood at 26.2 deg C, one notch above normal.

The humidity levels oscillated between 58 per cent and 90 per cent.

Incessant rains lashed Kashmir since last night, bringing down the temperature in the Valley.

Qazigund in south Kashmir's Anantnag district received 19.4 mm rainfall, while Pahalgam tourist resort recorded 5.2 mm.

Kokernag received 4.2 mm, followed by 3.3 mm in Srinagar and 1.8 mm in Kupwara district.

 

Light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places in Rajasthan.

Sendwa in Barmer recorded 9 cm rainfall, Anupgarh and Bikaner received 6 cm each, Sriganganagar recorded 5 cm and Osian 4 cm.

Heavy rains lashed isolated places in south-western region of the state.
