Friends of actor John Boyega thought he was an extra in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" as he was not allowed to share details with anyone, be it friends or family.
The 23-year-old actor said his group of friends were left surprised after seeing the film and length of his role, said The Hollywood Reporter.
"I couldn't tell anyone: family, friends, I had to keep it a secret. This is what's so funny. They showed a lot of respect and attention, but I took them to the London premiere and after the premiere, they were just like, 'Yo, John! I never knew you were in the movie for so long. I thought you were an extra,'" Boyega said.
"I'm like, 'All this time I was leaving Monday to Friday. What did you think I was doing?'," he added.
