Kalraj Mishra meets Akhilesh over security of BJP MLA

Mishra met Yadav this evening and apprised him about a recent attack on Som on August 28 by some anti-social elements, who he claimed were wary of the MLA's growing popularity.

The CM assured the senior BJP leader that he will ensure adequate security be provided to the BJP MLA.

Mishra, who is also MLA from Lucknow east seat, complained to Akhilesh that the state government was neglecting development works in his constituency.

He said fund was being allocated to all other assembly segments in the district except Lucknow east under the integrated development scheme for development works.

In response to Mishra's grievances, Akhilesh assured the BJP leader that development works would be carried out.

 

He said strengthening and beautification work of a polytechnic crossing would be started soon, which would give relief to people from the problem of traffic jam.
