The Kerala High Court today directed the Election Commission of India to convey its views on conduct of pre-election survey by the media.
Justice Mohammed Mushtaq directed the Election Commission to file its statement before April 4.
The order was issued on a writ petition filed by M K Moideen Kutty of Malappuram seeking a direction to declare as unconstitutional pre-election survey on the basis of religion and community by the media in assembly poll-bound Kerala.
