Kidnapped toddler traced in Vizag

An 11-month-old toddler, who was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified persons on Thursday, has been traced, police said today.

The abductors left the boy - Navdeep - near his residence in Maddilapalem area here last night, Assistant Commissioner of police (East) A Narasimha Murthy said.

Navdeep, was kidnapped on May 26, while he was playing at the cellar of an apartment at Pithapuram colony, the officer said.

After Navdeep was abandoned by the kidnappers, a passerby spotted him and informed police, Murthy said, adding that efforts are on to identify and nab the abductors.
