Kolkata devotee offers two buses to Lord Venkateswara temple

A devotee from Kolkata today made an offering of two buses to the shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala near here for the benefit of devotees.

The specially designed buses, worth about Rs 25 lakh, were handed over to the temple authorities by the devotee Prakash Choudhary on the hills, T Ravi, PRO of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams which manages the shrine told PTI.

TTD has been running about 20 buses free of cost to transport the devotees on short and medium distance journeys both on the hills and in Tirupati for the past more than two decades, he said.
