Odisha chief secretary A P Padhi today claimed railway, coal and national highways projects were meeting the time line as the state government has been able to resolve most of the problems faced by promoters.

Padhi said this while chairing a meeting of the Project Monitoring Group of Prime Minister's Office (PMO). The PMO was represented by its Joint Secretary Subha Kumari and Director S.D. Sharma.

"Todays review show that the projects are on the time line and the issues raised by some project implementing agencies have been resolved completely," Padhi told reporters.

Stating that meeting today reviewed 28 projects, Padhi said they were mainly in Railways, National High Ways and Coal mine sectors.

The issues relating to rehabilitation, disbursement of compensation, shifting of utilities, compliance to forest diversion proposals, forest clearance, holding of gram sabha, issue of FRA certificate, tree cutting permission, DGPS survey, compensatory afforestation and others were also discussed and resolved.
