Lead prices drifted lower by 0.19 per cent to Rs 155.75 per kg in futures market on Friday as speculators cut bets, taking negative cues from spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in October fell by 30 paise, or 0.19 per cent, to Rs 155.75 per kg in 436 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in November shed 40 paise, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 156.50 per kg in 774 lots.
Analysts said off-loading of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market, mainly influenced lead prices at futures trade.
