Leopard falls to death

A male leopard fell from a hill to its death in Narayan nagar forest area of Nainital district, forest department sources said here today.

Forest guards found a four-year-old male leopard dead in Landsend area yesterday during patrolling and informed higher authorities about it, they said.

A postmortem conducted on the big cat later confirmed it had died due to injuries sustained after falling from a hill, they said.
