Liqour shop employee shot dead, robbed of Rs. 20,000

A liquor shop employee was shot dead and robbed of Rs. 20,000 by unidentified persons today in Bihar's Madhubani district, a police officer said.

The 32-year-old employee, Pradeep Kumar was riding a motorcycle to deposit the cash in a bank when he was intercepted by two others also on a motorbike, Deputy Superintendent of Police Anjani Kumar said.

The unidentified persons shot dead Kumar and snatched away his bag containing the money, he said.
