Police today arrested an alleged liquor smuggler and recovered illicit liquor from his possession at Shahjahanpur post here.
Satish, a resident of Yamunanagar of Haryana, was arrested during vehicle checking under Sarsava police station and illicit liquor and a motorcycle were seized, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Dharamveer Singh said.
The accused used to bring illicit liquor from Haryana and sell it in Uttar Pradesh, he said.
