A 21-year old lorry cleaner sleeping under the vehicle was today crushed to death when the teenaged son of his employer started driving it in the wee hours here, police said.
Tirupathi was killed on the spot when 19-year old Devendran, son of the vehicle owner, started the lorry at around 5 am without realising that Tirupathi was sleeping, they said.
Devendran was arrested under IPC section 304 (A) (Causing death by negligence), police added.
