Maha ashram schoolboy hangs self, cops check phone for clues

A 19-year-old student of a government ashram school in Murbad in Thane district allegedly committed on Tuesday, police said.

The school where the teen hanged himself from a tree is located on Mhasa Road, an official said.

"We have not found any suicide note but there is some mention of the step in his phone status. It is being checked," the official added.
