Maid alleges rape

One person was today arrested

for allegedly raping her maid for last eight months, the police said.

According to city police officers, Suresh Chandra Mondal, a resident of Regent Park area, was arrested on the basis of a complaint of his maid who accussed him of raping her for the last eight months since she joined work.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
