A man was today arrested and 500 gram of opium worth Rs one lakh was seized from his possession, police said.
The accused, identified as Pawan Kumar alias Pappu, was arrested by a police patrol team, police said.
He has been booked under relevant sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and his motorcycle was impounded, police said.
