A 23-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping off from the fifth floor of a building in east Delhi's Mandawli, the police said today.
Police said they arrived at the scene of the incident after they were alerted by the locals.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared as brought dead, they said.
The man was later identified as Pankaj Kumar.
In 2013, he was supposed to take his Class 12 exams but since he fell ill, he could not take the exams, police said, adding that since then he had been under depression and was undergoing treatment for it.
On Sunday, he left the home and reached the Ganesh Nagar complex where he jumped from the fifth floor of the building, police added.
