A 32-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself here for failing to resolve a 2-month-old tiff with his wife leading to depression, police said today.
Raju Saxena, a resident of Juhi Safed colony at Kidwainagar here, stayed with his brother after his wife left him for his parents around two months back following a tiff between the two, police said.
He tried to mollify his wife and bring her back but failed, they said, adding this caused depression in Raju which might have compelled him to take the extreme step.
After being informed by the Saxena's family members, the authorities broke open his room and recovered the body, they said.
The body has been sent for post mortem and investigation is underway, police said.
